<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump in which the outside diameter in a motor section is reduced while ensuring an axial power for attaching components contained in a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A metal housing 20 of a pump section 12 contains pump cases 30 and 32, and an impeller 34. The metal housing 20 is positioned to a bobbin 50 by fitting a pawl 25 in the recess 52 of the bobbin 50. A pump case 32 is locked to the level difference 28 of the metal housing 20 and positioned in the axial direction. A resin housing 70 is formed by resin molding an insulating resin material and insert molding a stator core 40 and a coil 54. Between the teeth 42 of the stator core 40, an insulating resin material of the resin housing 70 is molded. An end cover 72 is molded integrally with the resin housing 70 when the stator core 40 and the coil 54 are resin molded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
