PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal dome switch that is superior in fatigue resistance property, even if applied with Ni or Ag plating. SOLUTION: In the metal dome switch superior in fatigue resistance characteristics, in which Ni or Ag plating is applied on an area in contact with a contact part with its bent part deformed and reversed, when it is pressed, provided that the distance from a center of the area in contact with contact part with its bent part deformed and reversed, and the boundary of the bent part and a pedestal part is L, and that the Ni or Ag plating is not applied within the range from L×0.9 (not inclusive) to L.
