PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book stock retrieval method, a book stock retrieval system and a book stock retrieval program, allowing a user to retrieve a stocked book by use of various conditions suitable for a selected retrieval condition, and capable of providing information by original classification. SOLUTION: A library information management server 20 has: a catalog data storage part 22 recording information about books; and a subordinate relationship data storage part 23 recording subordinate relationship data wherein a classification keyword and a subordinate keyword are associated. The library information management server 20 receiving a retrieval keyword from a user terminal 10 extracts the subordinate keyword of the subordinate relationship data with the retrieval keyword as the classification keyword. The library information management server 20 retrieves information about the corresponding stocked book from the catalog data storage part 22 by use of the received retrieval keyword and the extracted subordinate keyword, extracts it, and transmits a retrieval result thereof to the user terminal 10.
