PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which restrains peeling between layers or a crack from being generated, even when rigidity of a case head is strengthened, or regardless of a temperature environment. SOLUTION: A compliance substrate 42 is extended to a position corresponding to a reservoir 33 so as to make a compliance substrate extended portion 42a, the rib 145 of the case head 140 is bonded to the compliance substrate extended portion 42a, stress transmitted from the case head 140 to an ink supply passage side of a flow passage forming substrate is absorbed by the reservoir 33 and prevented from directly transmitting thereto, so that peeling between layers or a crack on an elastic film is restrained from being generated, even when the rigidity of the case head 140 is strengthened, or regardless of the temperature environment.
