PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose fatty acid ester composition for a fiber suitable as clothes having a clear color-developing property and a low frictional resistance among the fibers and especially represented by a knit fabric, fibers consisting of the same and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This cellulose fatty acid ester composition is characterized by containing 70-99.9 wt.% cellulose fatty acid ester having at least partially 3-18C acyl group, and 0.1-5 wt.% at least 1 kind selected from a higher fatty acid monocarboxylic acid ester, a fatty acid amide and a silicone copolymer. By melt-spinning the cellulose fatty acid ester composition, it is possible to obtain the fiber having good dynamic characteristics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
