PROTECTIVE FILM COATED TITANIUM PLATE HAVING EXCELLENT HEAT RESISTANCE AND OXIDATION RESISTANCE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND EXHAUST DEVICE FOR CAR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film coated titanium plate having excellent heat resistance and oxidation resistance; and also to provide its manufacturing method, and an exhaust device for car using the same. SOLUTION: A protective film of the thickness of 1-100μm containing 15-55% Si and 10-45% C, or a protective film further containing 20-60% Al is deposited on a titanium plate. The titanium plate as a base material contains one or two kinds of 0.5-2.1% Cu and 0.4-2.5% Al, and further contains 0.3-1.1% Nb. In the manufacturing method thereof, the protective film is deposited by brush-coating or spray-coating on the titanium plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
