PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mahjong ball game machine hardly establishing a big role by a special game. SOLUTION: The mahjong ball game machine is provided with: a special role selecting program P6 for selecting a chance role and a big role; a special role establishment judging program P81 for judging that the chance role is established; a special continuation role establishment judging program P82 for judging that the big role is established; a special game control program P10 for controlling the opening of an attacker 9 in the game when the chance role or the big role is established and controlling the start of the special game which makes it possible to exchange 5 pieces at maximum of tiles in hand for instance on the basis of an entry; and a special game continuation control program P11 for continuing the special game for the prescribed number of games after the next game when the establishment of the big role is judged. The special role selecting program P6 selects the chance role and the big role so that the big role is not established even when the chance role is established and the tiles in hand are exchanged.
