PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device capable of controlling moving and storing status by utilizing the characteristic thin monitor. SOLUTION: The device has a mechanism which enables the monitor to be inclined wider as compared with the conventional device. When transporting the device, the view of the transporter is secured by the monitor. In addition, the device also has a mechanism enabling the integration of the upper arm and the lower arm interlocking with the inclining motion of the monitor. With this mechanism, the arms are fixed in one operation and a posture is maintained so that the monitor and the arms do not jut out beyond the width of the device when moving and storing the device.
