Optical coupler comprises two photodiodes (1, 2) and a waveguide (3). One diode (1) is formed as an emitter diode and the other diode (2) as the receiver diode. The emitter diode and the receiver diode are arranged at a distance from each other on a circuit board (4). A plastic or glass body is provided on the circuit board as waveguide. |
