<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink having excellent stability, achieving good color development on plain paper and high gloss on glossy paper and having excellent ejection stability from an inkjet head. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment ink for inkjet recording is produced by using a pigment dispersion prepared from a pigment and a polymer having an acid number of ≥50 mgKOH/g and ≤120 mgKOH/g and a weight-average molecular weight of ≥20,000 and ≤120,000, and subjecting the components to ≥3 pass and ≤8 pass dispersion treatment with a high-pressure homogenizer under a treating pressure of ≥150 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
