<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing apparatus and a recording and reproducing method by which an attitude of a recording medium when the recording medium is rotated can be stabilized without necessitating a member such as a stabilization plate and which can correspond to a double-sided recording system in a recording and reproduction using a thin type recording medium having flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording and reproducing apparatus and the recording and reproducing method, a plurality of disk-like recording mediums having flexibility are stacked or a disk-like recording medium having flexibility and a disk-like sheet having flexibility are stacked to form the recording medium and all the recording mediums and the sheet which are stacked are rotated when the disk is rotated to stabilize the attitude of the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
