<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus which makes communication with a communication opposite party under any communication state while suppressing the power consumption of its own apparatus by utilizing a carrier of the communication opposite party when the carrier transmitted from the communication opposite party is available, and by transmitting a carrier from its own apparatus when the carrier transmitted from the communication opposite party is not available. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless communication apparatus for performing the above task includes: a passive mode period timer setting means that sets a timer for a period associated with a passive mode wherein the wireless communication apparatus transmits data to a wireless communication apparatus of the communication opposite party by using the carrier transmitted from the wireless communication apparatus of the communication opposite party; and an active mode period timer setting means that sets a timer for a period associated with an active mode wherein the wireless communication apparatus transmits data to the wireless communication apparatus of the communication opposite party by using the carrier outputted from its own apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
