<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system linkage inverter that detects a fault in a blocker when the blocker cannot be opened due to the failure, and prevents the occurrence of a reversed charge state to a DC power supply, and its control method. <P>SOLUTION: Voltage detection means 6, 7 are installed at the inverter bridge 2 side of the blocker 4 and a power system 5 side, respectively.
