<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, space-saving three-dimensional light ray input apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional light ray input apparatus includes a lens L 1 for converting angular information about light rays from a object to a position of light, a focusing element L3 for focusing the light rays from the object to the vicinities of an array R of photoelectric elements, and a lens L 2 which is located between the lens L1 and the focusing element L3 and performs conversion into a real image near the surface of the focusing element L3.
