<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella type balloon-shaped illumination device of which a balloon can be easily inflated without burdening an operator with a heavy load. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination device has an extensible skeleton structure formed by arranging a plurality of thin flexible bamboo sticks 13 between a top member 11 and a base member 12 in a radial form, and a balloon member 31 arranged on an outer face of the skeleton structure. The top member 11 and the base member 12 are jointed to each other through an extensible prop composed of pipe members 14, and rod members 15. A locking member 44 is arranged to the rod member 15 engaged with an opening end part and preventing movement of the extensible prop in an extension direction, at a position penetrating through and protruded from the pipe member 14 in a state of contracting the extensible prop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
