<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a user's convenience by coping with trouble, because of a method of driving a cleaning mechanism part by selecting its driving direction according to the situation, although it is necessary to provide a means for coping with defective mounting of an air filter when using a detachable air filter, in a cleaning mechanism control method for an air conditioner constructed to automatically clean the air filter. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with a lateral nozzle reset transmitting means which generates a signal for selecting either right or left of the air filter to drive a cleaning mechanism to the outside of a ventilation flue when the cleaning mechanism is on the ventilation flue of the air filter, and a lateral nozzle reset reading output means for reading and outputting the signal from the lateral nozzle reset transmitting means. Since the cleaning mechanism is driven by output from the lateral nozzle reset reading output means, the faults such as the defect in mounting the air filter can be coped with accordingly to enhance the user's convenience. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
