<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure, capable of preventing foreign matter existing in an external space from depositing onto an encoder 18, capable of shortening the distance between the detected face of the encoder 18 and a detecting part of a sensor 19, and capable of making the sensor 19 that is less likely to be damaged by a flying stone or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The encoder 18 is provided in the outer circumference of a cylindrical part 21 of a support ring 20, fixed to the inner end part of a rotating inner ring 13a. The detection part of the sensor 19 faces the outer circumference, that is the detected face of the encoder 18, from the radial direction outside, under the condition where the detection part is held by a holder 27 supported by an outer ring 12 that does not rotate. The tip end edges of sealing lips 26a, 26b, attached to an outer circumferential edge part of a ring part 22 in the support ring 20, are brought into sliding contact with one part of the holder 27 over the full circumference.
