<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which suppresses increase in cost and reduces temperature rise in a computation processing device while balancing between the reduction of operational noise of a cooling device and the securement of a computation processing capability of the computation processing device. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing device is provided with; a microprocessor 2 provided with a power consumption reducing part 22, which decreases a execution speed in computation processing to reduce power consumption, and a power consumption part 23 which approximately stops the execution of computation processing to reduce power consumption; a heat radiation fan 6 which cools the microprocessor 2 and generates an operational noise in response to a cooling operation; an operating rate computation part 4 which computes an operating rate which represents a rate of a period of time during which the microprocessor 2 is not approximately stopped; and a temperature control part 25 which controls an execution-speed reducing operation made by the power consumption reducing part 22 and the cooling operation made by the heat radiation fan 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
