PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover structure of a machine tool, minimizing an opening part to improve the machining efficiency, and achieved in simple constitution. SOLUTION: One side of a cover 3 is provided with an inverted recessed opening part 5 formed by connecting two tool passing parts 5a, 5a formed like a wide rectangle in the vertical direction by a revolving permit part 5b. The respective tool passing parts 5a are opening parts for passing the tool T held on a replacement arm 10, and shaped like a rectangle according to the full length and the maximum width of the tool T. On the other hand, the revolving permit part 5b is an opening part for passing the revolving base end part of the replacement arm 10, and the vertical width is formed a little larger than the vertical width of the replacement arm 10 (smaller than the tool passing part 5a). The respective tool passing parts 5a are opened and closed by a door 6 and the revolving permit part 5b is blocked by a blocking cover 9 including a revolving cover 7 and a slide cover 8.
