METHOD FOR PRODUCING COATED PAPER FOR PRINTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coated paper for printing, providing good printed quality and feeling of the printed face, and having a low density. SOLUTION: The coated paper for the printing is produced by coating the most inside coated layer neighboring a base paper by a spray coating method, and coating the most outside coated layer by a blade coating method in the method for producing the coated paper for the printing by coating a coating liquid containing a pigment and a binder on the base paper. The viscosity of the coating liquid used in the spray coating method is preferably within the range of 10-50 mPas at 1.0×104(1/sec) shear rate for producing the coated paper more effectively.
