PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece adhesion state confirming device of a machine tool capable of cleaning foreign matter such as coolant and chip adhered to a seated surface of a machining table, preventing a temporary stop of the machine tool and improving an operation rate of the machine tool. SOLUTION: A fluid supply circuit 25 for cleaning for supplying fluid for cleaning a seated surface 13a of a workpiece W and a fluid supply circuit 26 for confirmation for confirming an adhesion state of the workpiece W are connected in parallel between fluid passages 13b of a reference member 13 having the seated surface 13a of the workpiece W and a pressure fluid supply source 21. Both of the supply circuits 25 and 26 are provided with first switching control valve 24 and second switching control valve 31 (32). The circuit 26 is provided with a pressure switch 33 (34) for confirming the adhesion state. The first switching control valve 24 and the second switching control valve 31 (32) are switched and controlled by switching signals from a control device, and air for cleaning is supplied to the fluid passages 13b from the fluid supply circuit 25 to clean the seated surface 13a.
