PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drop of a detecting part (a) from a holder 20. SOLUTION: In this rotation detecting sensor P, a hall IC 11 for detecting magnetic field fluctuation by rotation and converting it into an electric signal is mounted to a holder 20, and an output cable 6 is pulled out of the hall IC via a lead stripe 12 of the hall IC. A recessed part 14 engaging with the detecting part (a) formed of the hall IC and the lead stripe is formed in the holder 20, and a pawl 15 locked with the lead stripe 12 is disposed in the recessed part. Projections 16 are disposed on both sides of the inner surface of the recessed part 14, and a clearance (t) between the projections and the tip 15a of the pawl is set the same as the width T of the lead stripe 12. When the lead stripe 12 is engaged with the inside of the recessed part 14 through the clearance, the lead stripe 12 is located in the center and does not easily jump out of the clearance (t). Therefore, small vibration cannot easily drop the detecting part (a) (hall IC 11 or the like) from the holder 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
