PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the broken hole, not to close it completely. SOLUTION: The broken hole reducing apparatus provides a protect tube 2 to be inserted into a vascular channel of a body, a balloon catheter 3 to be inserted into the protect tube 2 so that the balloon 3b would be exposed from one end of the protect tube 2, at least two displacement tubes 4 to be mounted around the balloon 3b so that it would be exposed from one end of the protect tube 2 and a clip 6 one end of which has a locking projection 8 and the other end of which has an elastic part 9 with a medical string 5 inserted from the protect tube 2 through the displacement tube 4 fixed on the other end side. On the clip 6, the elastic part 9 is mounted removably at one end of at least the two displacement tubes opposing against each other, with the locking projection 8 facing outward and the balloon 3b in a contraction state and the displacement tube 4 is inserted into the broken hole 12. Then, the balloon 3b is inflated and the clip 6 is removed from the displacement tube 4 by pulling the balloon 3b while being contracted after engaging the clip 6 with the surrounding of the broken hole 12.
