PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing hook installed with a position for engaging a knot of a fishing line so that the knot is not cut or separated on getting a load on the fishing line and also the knot itself is made so as to moderate an impact. SOLUTION: This fishing hook 1 is provided by installing a mount 4 on the hook 1 for fixing the fishing line by giving twists 6 to the line. The mount 4 is provided by installing a width or lengthwise directional flat mount extending in longitudinal direction in the vicinity of an eye portion 2 at the base end of the fishing hook. Further, the fishing line is fixed by winding and tying the base part of a ring 5 of the fishing line with a binding part 3 between the eye portion 2 and mount 4, and further giving the twists 6 having an approximate length of the mount 4 to the ring 5 so as to fix by closely adhering the twists 6 to the mount 4 or its back surface side.
