[Class 75 (iv)] A street lamp for war-time use has a screen comprising an opaque annular member d having above it an opaque disc g, which overlaps the edge of the annular member, and the annular member is formed with radial apertures f, the outer ends of which extend slightly beyond the edge of the disc. The apertures may be replaced by V-shaped recesses, and the recesses or the apertures may be formed in the disc instead of in the annular member. A collar i, secured to the annular member, reflects the light falling on it in a nearly horizontal direction. |
