摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of preventing estimated precision of gas density from deteriorating while suppressing a cost increase, even if a pump in which gas density causes a small load change is used. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 70 of this fuel cell system stores correlative data showing the correlation of pulsation of a circulation pump 42 and gas density on the fuel electrode side in advance. In addition, the controller 70 detects the magnitude of the pulsation of the circulation pump 42 from the detected value of a pressure sensor 62, and finds the gas density on the fuel electrode side from the detected pulsation and correlative data. Since the gas density on the fuel electrode side is thus found by the magnitude of the pulsation, even if a pump in which gas density causes a small load change is used, estimated precision of the gas density can be prevented from deteriorating. Also, since the gas density can be estimated from the pulsation, it is not required to newly provide an expensive sensor to detect the gas density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
