<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inexpensive component correction device for display elements to achieve a high correction success rate by eliminating failure of correction; and to provide a correction method for display element components thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The component correction device 10 comprises a stage 1 for carrying a color filter 20 while repeating movement and stop, and a liquid droplet application mechanism unit 3 for applying liquid droplets on a defective part of the color filter 20 carried by the stage 1.
