PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a file size by highly accurately aggregating a plurality of pages in which background images containing complicated textures are used. SOLUTION: The image processing method for reducing the data size of the plurality of image data has: an image data input step (S1) for inputting the plurality of image data; a common background input step for inputting a common background commonly used for the plurality of image data input in the image data input step; a common background eliminating step (S4) for eliminating the common background input in the common background input step from the plurality of image data input in the image data input step; and an aggregating step (S5) for aggregating the image from which the common background is eliminated in the common background eliminating step and the image from which the common back ground is eliminated so that the image data can be restored by the common background, to the common background.
