PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal in which service mobility is achieved by switching a service reception terminal from a mobile terminal to a plurality of communication terminals specified. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 101 comprises a capability information transmitting/receiving section 204 for inquiring the capability of other communication terminals 102 and 103 constituting a PAN 105, when communication of session consisting of a plurality of media is performed with a communication terminal 104; a section 208 selecting a communication terminal that is most suitable for performing media communication based on the terminal capability of other communication terminals 102, 103 obtained at the capability information transmitting/receiving section 204 and the terminal capability of own terminal 101; and a session control section 207 transmitting a message of session connection for communicating a medium corresponding to a selected communication terminal 102, 103 between the selected communication terminal 102, 103 and a partner communication terminal 104 to the selected communication terminal 103.
