PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal device by which insects like mosquitoes generated in a rainwater basin can be expelled efficiently over a long period without closing a lid hole of the rainwater basin. SOLUTION: The insecticidal device 10 comprising a body 11 containing a transpiration insecticidal component is provided with an arranging means 12 for arranging the body 11 in the vicinity of a water surface of a water facility like the rainwater basin 20.
