PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly rain gutter water collection basin capable of being adapted and attached to either of a ceiling face and a wall face. SOLUTION: In this rain gutter water collection basin provided with a basin body 2 like a vessel opened upward and forming a chute port in a bottom part and a lid body 4 like a plate blocking the upper opening of the basin body 2 and forming a drain pipe insertion port 3 in a middle part to lock the basin body 2 in the lid body 4 from below and attach it, an upper mounting hole 5 for mounting on the ceiling face is arranged around the drain pipe insertion port 3 of the lid body 4, and a fixing piece 7 having a side mounting hole 6 for mounting on the wall face is provided at a rear fringe of the lid body 4 by suspending it.
