PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, having a setting properties prevented from becoming worth while maintaining the resistance to heat aging. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the tire contains 40-100 pts.wt. carbon black having 20-100 specific surface area obtained by nitrogen adsorption, 0.5-10 pts.wt. sulfur and 0.5-10 pts.wt. cyclic polysulfide compound represented by formula (1) (wherein, x is an integer of 2-6; n is an integer of 1-20; and R is a substituted or nonsubstituted 2-20C alkylene group, a substituted or nonsubstituted 2-20C oxyalkylene group or an aromatic group-containing alkylene group), and further contains 0.1-5 pts.wt. specific diphenylamine based on 100 pts.wt. diene rubber.
