PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition without limiting the possibility of using a fluorescent organic molecule and without causing leakage of the fluorescent organic molecule into a medium. SOLUTION: The composition is a cosmetic composition comprising fluorescent particles containing molecules of at least one fluorescent organic compound trapped inside a matrix at least partially formed with at least one metal oxide in a physiologically acceptable medium.
