A display mounting assembly of an air conditioner is provided to function as a link capable of operating the display by rotatably connecting a lower end portion of a front frame to a display bracket. A display mounting assembly of an air conditioner includes a control cover, a display(148), a display bracket(160), and a connection unit. The control cover is installed in a front frame forming the appearance of an indoor unit of the air conditioner. The display is installed on the front side of the control cover to display the operation state of the air conditioner. The display bracket is provided in the front frame so as to support the display. The connection unit is provided in the interior of the indoor unit so that the display can be prevented from being separated from the front frame by a predetermined distance. An engagement section for engaging the connection unit is formed in the control cover. Engagement recesses are formed on both side surfaces of the display to install the front panel in a hook engaging method. |
