DEVICE OF DETECTING ERROR OF AUTOMATIC WATER SUPPLYING OF BOILER AND METHOD OF DETECTING THEREOF

An apparatus and a method for detecting an error of an electronic valve of a boiler automatically supplying water are provided to determine the error of the electronic valve by using a wafer flow sensor detecting the automatic supply state of water. A boiler having an automatic water supply function comprises a full level sensor(11) for sensing upper limit of a water tank, a low level sensor(12) for sensing lower limit of a water tank, an electronic valve drive section(13), and a water flow sensor(14). The electronic valve drive section drives an electronic valve to supply and interrupt water to a water tank according to signals detected by the full level sensor and the low level sensor. An apparatus for detecting an error of the electronic valve of the boiler includes a control section(15) and a display section(16). The control section checks the error of the electronic valve when an ON detection time of the water flow sensor according to the flow of the supplied water exceeds a reference use time. The display section outputs an alarm message so that a user can recognize the error of the electronic valve under the control of the control section.
