A GAS CONVERSION FURNACE INCLUDES A TUBULAR INSULATION BRICK UNIT DEFINING A COMBUSTION CHAMBER (24) WITHIN WHICH A GAS PRODUCT IS GENERATED. THE BRICK UNIT INCLUDES A ROW OF TUBULAR BRICKS (221) EACH OF WHICH HAS A FIRST END SURFACE FORMED WITH AN ANNULAR FLANGE AND A SECOND END SUFRACE FORMED WITH AN ANNULAR GROOVE. THE GAS PRODUCT FROM THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER (24) IS COOLED WITHIN A COOLING TUBE DEVICE (30) WHICH INCLUDES A FIRST COOLER (31) AND A SECOND COOLER (33). THE FIRST COOLER (31) INCLUDES AN INNER TUBE AND AN OUTER TUBE BETWEEN WHICH A FIRST COOLING-LIQUID CHAMBER IS DEFINED. THE SECOND COOLER (33) INCLUDES A VALVE TUBE (331) AND A PLURALITY OF SMALL TUBES (335) WHICH ARE FIXED IN THE VALVE TUBE (331) AND WHICH HAVE AN OUTER DIAMETER SMALLER THAN THAT OF THE INNER TUBE, THEREBY DEFINING A SECOND COOLING-LIQUID CHAMBER.
