PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus capable of improving heat efficiency, reducing a running cost, lowering an exhaust total amount and an exhaust temperature and improving a work environment. SOLUTION: The cooking apparatus comprises: a case body part 1 for which a pot or the like can be installed at the upper part; and a plurality of burners 2 disposed in a roughly annular shape inside the case body part 1, capable of burning a gaseous mixture of primary air and a combustion gas, generating flames from flame port parts 2a roughly in a circular shape in the plane view and heating the pot or the like installed at the upper part. In the cooking apparatus, the upper part of the respective flame port parts 2a of the burner 2 is opened, a secondary air shielding plate material 3 for partitioning an upper part and a lower part from the burner 2 inside the case body part 1 is provided, the edge part of an opening 3 is made roughly circular concentric to the flame port parts 2a, and secondary air is supplied from the gap part with the burner 2 to the flame port parts 2a.
