PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tomograph apparatus which enables a main scan while a flexible cable is connected to a detecting means in a fixed manner. SOLUTION: The rotations of a flat panel type detector, or FPD, a supporting member 103, retained by a retaining bar 37a of a rotary table 37 through a rotating type linear bearing 104, around the bearing 104 are regulated by abutting on a retaining frame 101. As a result, an FPD 6 moves in parallel around a tomographic axis B. Consequently, the main scan is performed while the flexible cable 111 is connected to the FPD 6 in a fixed manner. A stepping motor provided on the front surface of the FPD supporting member 103 rotates the FPD 6. Consequently, the detecting surface of the FPD 6 is placed perpendicularly to an irradiating axis connected to an irradiation source position of a rotating anode X-ray tube 5.
