The aim of the invention is to configure said drive simply in such a way that it is no longer necessary to decouple the drive function of the drive unit, formed by the drive motor and the speed reduction gear, from the spindle (11). According to the invention, the spindle nut (13) is equipped with a braking assembly (14) that comprises a coil spring (17) and the force that is transmitted by the coil spring (17) to a component (16) lying in said spring can be controlled, to allow the speed of the spindle (11) to deviate from the normal speed.
