The bracket has a base (10), and a cover (20) that is attached to the base in a hinged and detachable manner. The cover covers a slot (11) for an arched wire and covers the base along the entire outer contour. The cover is connected with a spring unit (23) via film hinges (8a, 8b) as a single piece and is fastened at the base in a pluggable manner. The film hinges are formed in a hinged region through reduction of the material cross section. A cam lock is provided in an inner side of the cover, where the bracket is made of plastic.
