A demodulating part (8) in a receiving module (3) supplies, as an amplitude adjustment signal, a signal based on a signal level detected by a first detecting part (22) to a second amplifying part (16), whereby when a second receiving part (7) is activated, an AGC voltage to be supplied to the second amplifying part (16) has a magnitude that is close to a given ultimately-settled value. Accordingly, the AGC voltage to be supplied to the second amplifying part (16) will settle from the magnitude, which is close to the given value, toward the given value. As a result, the time interval can be shortened which starts from the activation of the second receiving part (7) and ends when the AGC voltage to be supplied to the second amplifying part (16) ultimately settles to the given value.
