<p>This invention provides an electrophotographic electrification member having a polyurethane foam layer, which is less likely to undergo strain by compressive force, and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus using the same. The electrophotographic electrification member having a polyurethane foam layer is characterized in that the polyurethane foam layer contains tin-containing electrically conductive metal oxide particles as a polymerization catalyst for polyurethane foaming, and electrically conductive particles using carbon, the volume specific resistance of the electrically conductive metal oxide particles is less than 10<SUP>7</SUP> O·cm, and electrically conductive particles, which do not function as the polymerization catalyst of the polyurethane foam, are contained in an amount of not less than 1% by mass and less than 20% by mass.</p> |
