An ink-jet image forming apparatus including a maintenance belt is provided to make the apparatus small for reducing an installation space for the same. An ink-jet image forming apparatus including a maintenance belt includes an ink-jet head(52b), a recording medium conveyance part, and a maintenance belt(300). The ink-jet head has a plurality of nozzle parts(12) disposed in a width direction of a recording medium. The recording medium conveyance part conveys a recording medium to pass through the nozzle parts. The maintenance belt includes a cap(310) for covering the nozzle parts, a wiper(320) for cleaning residual ink on a surface of the nozzle part, a spitting hole(330) for passing through an ink droplet, and a platen(340) for supporting a rear surface of the recording medium running by a drive part.
