PRE-MIXED TORCH IGNITER FOR A COMBUSTOR

A premixed type torch igniter of a combustor is provided to have a baffle with a curved section in a cylindrical body of the igniter and to thereby uniformly mix fuel with air and improve fluidity of the air-fuel mixture by forming a strong recirculation region. A premixed type torch igniter of a combustor comprises a body(20) having an air inlet port(10) vertically formed about the lateral side to inflow air to be mixed with fuel and a combustion chamber shaped in a cylinder opened on the lower end to mix and ignite fuel and air; a fuel injecting unit(80) vertically combined at the lateral side of the body to atomize liquid fuel and spray to the combustion chamber; an igniting unit(50) vertically combined with the lateral side of the body to produce spark and flame in the combustion chamber; a nozzle vertically mounted on one end opened at the body to jet flame generated in the combustion chamber to a position needed in ignition of a main combustor; and a baffle(40) installed in the body with a section curved to the center to branch air inserted into the combustion chamber to flow along the inner wall of the body to be mixed with particle fuel from the fuel injecting unit so as to shape a recirculation region.
