摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electrostatic properties by forming a uniform charge generating layer with a coating material composition for an electrophotographic photoreceptor exhibiting high sensitivity to light in a long wavelength region and having good stability in repetitive use. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes: an initial dispersion step of dispersing a pigment containing oxo-titanium phthalocyanine with a dispersion medium containing a high boiling solvent having a boiling point of 120-260°C; a coating material composition preparing step of preparing the above coating material composition for an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing the crystalline oxo-titanium phthalocyanine exhibiting predetermined peaks in an X-ray diffraction spectrum by adding a solution prepared by dissolving a binder resin in a solvent to the pigment dispersed dispersion medium so that the high boiling solvent occupies 10-40 wt.% of the coating material composition for an electrophotographic photoreceptor; and a charge generating layer forming step of forming the above charge generating layer by ejecting the coating material composition for an electrophotographic photoreceptor as liquid droplets by an ink-jet system.
