PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cutter usable in long use by inexpensively processing cost by cleavage of a naked fiber and updating a weir part without causing an enlargement of the cutter. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cutter comprises an optical fiber fixing part 5 for fixing the naked fiber 3 at a prescribed position, a wire 7 damaging the surface of the naked fiber 3 fixed by the optical fiber fixing part 5, and a pushing member 9 for pushing a reverse side surface of the damage of the damaged naked fiber 3.
