PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct inspection with sufficient measurement accuracy without necessitating a contact etc. of a probe from the outside. SOLUTION: An electrooptical device is equipped with a plurality of scanning lines and a plurality of signal lines, a plurality of pixel portions, and a plurality of first amplifying means which are arranged corresponding to respective pairs of two signal lines, to which a first electric potential signal is supplied via one signal line out of the two signal lines and a second electric potential signal as a reference electric potential is supplied via the other signal line and which outputs a first low electric potential signal or a first high electric potential signal. Furthermore, the electrooptical device is equipped with a plurality of second amplifying means which are arranged on the side of a pixel array region opposite to that of the first amplifying means, to which a first electric potential signal is supplied via one signal line out of the two signal lines and a second electric potential signal is supplied via the other signal line and which outputs a second low electric potential signal or a second high electric potential signal.
