PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitution technique for manufacturing an insect pest control apparatus from non-metallic materials in extents incapable of being easily detected with metal detectors and for collecting data related to the activities of insect pests. SOLUTION: This insect pest control apparatus 110 for controlling the insect pests is characterized by having at least one bait member capable of being operated to be consumed or displaced by one or more kinds of insect pests, and a passive RF communication circuit for transmitting information related to the apparatus 110 in response to a wireless excitation signal.
