<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an MEA with choking of pores of a catalyst layer and degradation of electrolyte restrained. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the MEA comprises (i) a step of coating catalyst slurries consisting of electrolyte, electrode catalyst, and a solvent on one face of gas diffusion layers, (ii) a step of forming a laminated body by pinching a solid polymer electrolyte film with the gas diffusion layers so that the catalyst slurries and the solid polymer electrolyte film contact each other, (iii) a step of solidifying the catalyst slurries with a load added in lamination direction of the laminated body by pinching the laminated body with gas-permeating plate materials, and (iv) a step of peeling off the gas-permeating plate materials from the laminate body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
