PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spectacles having hinges to fold temples sideways so as to suppress the bulk of spectacles. SOLUTION: The spectacles comprises lenses fitted to frames, a bridge connecting the lenses or frames, nose pads disposed inside, and temples disposed outside via L-shape clasps and hinges, and the spectacles are characterized in that: a pinch plate having a recess inside is disposed on the upper and lower faces at a rear part of the L-shape clasp and bent into a U-shape form as a female component of the hinge; the top end of the temple is shaped, to which a rotation prevention plate is disposed and a ball is attached as a male component of the hinge; and the male component is inserted into the female component so as to fold and twist the temple.
